Simple 1-step "Hot Key" system recovery from a pre-stored snapshot - When software failure renders a system unbootable or if an application fails, complete recovery begins with a reboot. During the boot, a hot key is pressed to call up the pre-Windows boot user interface where all previously stored snapshots are visible. Selection of an alternate snapshot is all that it takes to recover the system.

Perfect point-in-time snapshots while the system is live - Proprietary "open file" driver copies the system to a specific point-in-time, resulting in an identical copy of the Windows 2000, XP or 2003 volume.

Scheduled or manual updates of snapshots are differential - Periodic updates of snapshots are typically very fast since only changed files are updated. System resources are minimized with a user-selectable priority.

Data Anchoring feature provides up-to-date access to all anchored data files regardless of the snapshot booted - Traditional operating system recovery procedures "wipe out" data files stored on the system volume, leaving their restoration to be separate from the system recovery. Often, these files are not available or current only to the date they were last backed up. Anchoring data files eliminates this common problem by making these pre-selected data files available to any booted snapshot.

Archive Snapshot for offsite storage - Ability to archive snapshots to another device, i.e. partition, disk drive, network location. Archives safeguard the OS and Applications in case of hardware failure.

Freeze the system at each boot - Capability to freeze the system to the same state every time the system boots. Applications kiosks, point-of-sale, school or library systems.
