Leapfrog Software was incorporated in June 2002 after an extensive development and marketing effort. The founders, who were previously associated in a former high availability and data protection business, developed a truly unique and very advanced high availability failover capability known as ISR Technology (Immediate System Recovery). The need for ISR Technology was clearly dictated by IT managers in environments where system downtime is unacceptable.

To fill a void in the market, Leapfrog Software's team developed software modules that support our core failover ISR technology, real-time disk mirroring, file and sector level copy engines, OS-folder-file archiving, network management, scheduling and automatic recovery functionality.

These various utilities form the basics for customized solutions rather than off the shelf solutions to better fit the needs of the customer.  The success of Leapfrog Software stems from this modularized approach without being a software for hire shop.

The founders of Leapfrog Software are experienced professionals with over 65 years of combined experience in the software business.
